VMware Network Setting

VMware Network Setting


1 Click on ‘Edit’ menu select virtual Network Editor…… 

 


2 you will see three options
1 Bridge

2 Host-Only

3 NAT


Disable the DHCP in every Options…

In Bridge if there is Automatic please change it to your Network adapter As in my environment I have Realtake…




3 Windows Side


Navigate to Network Connectios

You will see two VM Network Adapter

 


4 Right Click on each adapter


Select properties

And change the ip address
 



5 Right Click on your Machine in VMware

Select settings

 

6 Select Network Adapter


Select Custome: Specific virtual Network

In Custome Select VMnet* (NAT)





7 Open CMD prompt and try to ping your Linux machine……
If it not work then restart your computer...


You can see my Windows machine is able to ping My Linux machine in VMware.
Now you can connect with your Linux machine by using Putty, Winscp, VNCser
ver etc.
eg:
Open Putty and inter the Linux machines IP address.
